Most professional photographers who submit their work for publication shoot transparency film, or slide film.  My work is not published and I do my own printing in my own photographic studio.  I print only from negatives because I believe that negatives produce the highest quality images, especially for big enlargements.  My studio is in my home.

Since I print only from negatives I shoot only negative film. My forte is strong colorful images with bold bright colors. I have found that amateur films do a better job of capturing the bold 'Ray Doan Look'.   Professional films the tend toward more delicate or subtle colors.

My choice for 120 and 220 film is FujiColor - ASA 400.  For 35mm my mainstay film is regular old Kodak Gold 400.
