Delicate Arch is one of the most improbable rock formations on earth and it's the quintessential arch in Arches National Park. Delicate Arch sets at about 5000 feet on the edge of a cliff in front of a sandstone bowl. To get to the arch it's about a mile and a half slickrock hike that climbs 500 feet. The best viewing is toward sunset but if you set off on a 110' F Utah afternoon, the walk is harder than it sounds. |
