Mesa Arch in Canyonlands National Park

Mesa Arch is in the 'Island in the Sky' district in Canyonlands National Park.  This area of southeastern Utah is a high peninsula more than a thousand feet above above the Green and Colorado Rivers.  The sunrise photograph is 'the' cliché picture of Mesa Arch but it's still a beautiful image.  The underside of the arch is lit up by the raising sun.
