This female Polar Bear and her year old Cub were traveling across the ice during a beautiful sunset. Photographed in the Canadian Northwest Territories near Churchill, Manitoba Canada on the western shore of Hudson Bay.  The Russian name for Polar Bears is 'Ice Bears', which seems perfect for these bears.
