A wild male Bengal Tiger just hanging out in the Bandhavgarh Tiger Preserve in India. We're on an elephant, which allows us to get close enough to make a shot like this. Unless they are about to be trampled, tigers ignore elephants, because they view elephants as non-threatening and too big to eat. The fact that there are edible people on the backs of the elephants doesn't seem to register with the tigers. |
