Hippo in the Masai Mara Africa

Any little pond that's deep enough might have a hippo in residence.  These are often young, lone, male hippos that don't want to challenge a dominate bull for a spot in the river.  This pond was completely covered with floating vegetation but that didn't seem to be any problem for this hippo.
