Killer Whales at Sunrise in British Columbia

We photographed
this beautiful sunrise off the northwestern end of
Vancouver Island in British Columbia. The Orcas or
Killer Whales were a common sight in August when we
visited the little town of Tofino, near the Pacific Rim
National Park. There were actually nine whales in this
pod but we took the picture before they all surfaced, so we could
preserve the reflections. |
