Penguins on Deception Island Antarctica

This Chinstrap Penguin and its tiny Chick were
in a rookery at Baily Head on Deception Island in
Antarctica. There are a hundred thousand mated pairs of
Chinstrap Penguins in the Baily Head rookery. We came
ashore by Zodiac, to the beach at Baily Head. We found the
sight of thousands of penguins, coming and going on the
black sand beach, to be truly awe-inspiring. This is a high quality embossed card. These cards are packaged in sets of 12 of two each of six different cards. They are packaged together with matching envelopes in a beautiful and convenient box with a Velcro closure. Each card has a short description of the scene, on the back, from 'Ray's Notebook'. These note cards make great gifts. |
