#4525 - Emperor Penguins with Too Many Chicks in Antarctica

Two of these cards are included in the Boxed Note Cards #9505 - 'Penguins'

These Emperor Penguins are getting ready to feed their chick in Antarctica. Among 'Birders' the Emperor Penguin is known as the most difficult bird in the world to see. This isn't because they are rare or elusive, but because they live in the most remote and difficult place to get to on earth. I photographed them at their rookery on the Rilser-Larsen Ice Shelf, which is south of Argentina.

This is a high quality embossed card.  These cards are packaged in sets of 12 of two each of six different cards.  They are packaged together with matching envelopes in a beautiful and convenient box with a Velcro closure.  Each card has a short description of the scene, on the back, from 'Ray's Notebook'.  These note cards make great gifts.
