This blue iceberg of glacier ice, with the Adele and Chinstrap Penguins, was in the Scotia Sea in Antarctica. This magnificent iceberg was truly a once in a lifetime find. The blue color is emitted light that has passed through the perfectly clear ice. The surreal shapes have been formed by the wave action of the constantly rough seas. We were on the bridge of a Russian Icebreaker when we took this shot. |
