This is my
favorite photograph of the surreal sandstone formations
found in slot canyons. These slot canyons are deep
narrow canyons of sandstone that are found in the desert
Southwest. This formation, which is carved by
water, is at spot known as 'Hole in the Wall', in Lower
Antelope Canyon. The canyon is on a Navaho Indian
Reservation near Page, Arizona. |
