Baby Elephant in a Crowd

When the elephants gathered in large herds at the waterholes it always seemed as if the small baby elephants were going to be trampled in the crowd.  However it never happens.  The adult elephants, including the meanest tempered big bulls, were very attentive to the babies and took particular not to step on them.  The babies snuck between legs and under elephants with impunity.  I took this photograph at Savuti Botswana Africa.
