Hippo with Threat Display

This big male Hippo was a nasty, disagreeable fellow.  He came out of the river and charged us several times.  He didn't want us anywhere near all those beautiful female Hippos surrounding him.  Unfortunately he got the most riled up in the late afternoon when I had to shoot into the sun, with resulting poor pictures.  These pictures were taken in Chitabe Botswana in the good morning light.
