Pregnant Whitetail Deer

In the Ray and Steven Doan Photographic Collection

This pregnant Whitetail deer gave birth to one fawn, in our yard in Georgia, a couple of days after we took this photograph.  She was probably two years old and that was her first fawn.  After the first single fawn Whitetail deer typically give birth to twins.
