Criosphinxes in Karnak's First Court

The line of sphinxes here are called criosphinxes.  Criosphinxes have the bodies of lions with the heads of rams.  They were the symbols of the god Amen.  There is an avenue of criosphinxes called the Way of the Offerings that leads to the First Pylon and the First Court at Karnak.
