The Hypostyle Hall is probably the most famous part of Karnak’s Temple of Amen. This huge pillared hall contains 134 columns that are 6.5 feet in diameter and 75 feet tall. The columns and the walls are covered with carved relief. The sense of grandeur the Hypostyle Hall evokes makes a visit to Karnak an impressive experience. |
