Village of Qurna in Egypt

This little village is in the Nobles Tombs area on Sheikh abd el Qurna, the area of the Theban Hills opposite the Ramesseum Temple.  It is on the road to the Valley of the Kings.  The village people are called Qurnawi and they are the subject of an ongoing history project.  See http://www.qurna.org/.
