Great White Shark

This guy only got a small piece of the bait but he put on a mighty thrashing display until he broke the rope and got his prize.  They tied on the baits using hemp rope, that the Great White Sharks could usually break.  The shark wranglers on the boat, would haul as hard as they could on the rope, but that was only a mild inconvenience to the Great White Sharks.
