Hippo Mom & Her Baby in the Mara River Africa

It would seem pretty easy for a little baby hippo to get lost underwater in the African rivers that are so muddy that you can't see an inch down into the water.  Whatever system mom and baby have it obviously works because there seems to be lots of hippos.  In spite of all that this little guy seemed to need assurances that mom was still there.  I photographed these two in the Mara River in Kenya Africa.
