Malachite Kingfisher in Africa

The Malachite Kingfisher is a tiny little bird.  It has red feet, a red bill and an ultra-marine blue back.  It has such exquisite coloring it was our favorite bird in Africa.  They live around the edge of ponds and we saw them frequently, but we seldom got close enough to take their picture.
