Vervet Monkeys are in a family of forest monkeys known as guenons. About half the primates in Africa are guenons but only two species live outside rainforests, where they're commonly seen by tourists. These two species are the Blue Monkey and the Vervet Monkey. This guy was hanging around the dinning room at our lodge in the Ngorongoro Crater in Tanzania, Africa. |
