Jaguar in the Water

In the Ray and Steven Doan Photographic Collection

The Jaguar is a strong swimmer and is very comfortable hunting in the water.  As this guy was swimming by, he turned for a few strokes in our general direction, which was making us quite nervous.  He eventually turned back to his original course and went on his way, much to our relief.
