Vulturine Guineafowl in Samburu National Park

In the Ray and Steven Doan Photographic Collection

This Vulturine Guineafowl was sticking to one area in Samburu National Park, in Kenya Africa.  This may have meant it had a nest nearby,  or at least what passes for a nest to a Vulturine Guineafowl.  They typically just make a scrape on the ground, under a bush or long grass, where they lay up to 15 eggs.
