South African Giraffes in Chitabe Botswana

The giraffes around these water holes were very skittish and sometimes took as much as half an hour approaching the water, while they checked out the surroundings.  If our vehicle was at all close to the waterhole they wouldn't come at all.  These pictures were all shot with a 500 mm lens.
