The reefs off Hawaii are fairly drab compared to many other reef areas in the world. Hawaii doesn't have much in the way of soft corals and there is a rather limit variety of hard corals. This is offset by the large variety of beautifully colored tropical fish, that often found in large numbers, that provide a kaleidoscope of color underwater. |
