Kissing Manatees Underwater in Crystal River

In the Ray and Steven Doan Photographic Collection

These kissing Manatees were photographed underwater in the King Spring of the Crystal River, near the town of Crystal River, on the West Coast of Florida.  A hundred plus Manatees congregate in this area in the colder winter months.  They come to take advantage of the warm spring water that is always at 72° F.
